DC#172

The Diva's Challenge this past week was a Duotangle; using 2 designated tangles only: Auraknot and Mooka. I love Auraknot, and while I like Mooka,; I never seem to get it to look the way I'd like it to look.

As per my recent comment, I'm presenting my tiles, warts and all. I just dashed off both of these right away, and really liked them. Except that there were a few messy spots; and I tried to replicate the tiles without the glitches. But second tries are never as good as the first, spontaneous ones. So here's the first:

And here is the second, which, besides being messy, has a few directional errors:

But, at least I got them posted. I've missed a few weeks for one reason or another, and I didn't want to miss another.

Be sure to visit the Diva's site to see the other wonderful entries; it's amazing how different all the responses are. Maybe you'll be inspired to try out one of the Challenges yourself.

Thanks for visiting; please leave a comment, favorable or not. I'd love to hear your thoughts. That's how we learn and grow; and how we know someone out there is paying attention.

Have a wonderful day; see you all next time.

  2. I especially like the way you had the Mooka "grow" out of the Auraknot. Both are very nice, warts and all!

    1. Thanks, Jean. I was very pleased at how it worked out. Mooka finally looks pretty much the way I wanted it to.

  3. I agree with Jean, I really like the way that the Mooka grows out of the Auraknot too.

    1. Thanks, Kate. Once I started working on the tile, it just seemed natural for Mooka to do that.
