The template for this week's Zendala Dare caught me right away; thanks, Erin.
I got all kinds of ideas. This was my first; I couldn't decide between Black & White, or Color.
So I'm posting them both:
I layered colors, using Prismacolor pencils, and I quite like the effect. I'm still working with the technique, and I thank LeeAnn Denzer again, for her tutorial. It has been immensely helpful. I am definitely going to try another if I can find the time.
In the meantime, if you're interested in trying the Zendala Dares yourself, or just seeing the other fabulous entries, go to Erin's site, the Bright Owl.
Thanks for visiting, and leave a comment, favorable or not. That's how we learn and grow; and how we know someone out there is paying attention.
Have a wonderful day, week, month; see you all next time.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Anne. Autumn was definitely on my mind.
DeleteBoth are wonderful! I can´t decide for a favorite. I like the first one because the lovely shading and contrast. The second one has a beautiful autumnal coloring!
ReplyDeleteThanks, LonettA. You can understand why I couldn't choose between tem.
DeleteI am usually more of a traditionalist, but I think I prefer the colored one. Beautiful fall colors.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Donald. I also usually prefer traditional black and white; but I must admit that color is growing on me.
