It's a String Thing, #167

Here is the string which Adele Bruno has conjured 

up for String Thing #167:

 

and the tangles to be used were Ponio and Winflo.

I decided to use white ink on a black tile; 

and this is the first tile I did:

It came out well, but I decided to try one with color, 

along with the white on black. I had seen a tile that

Ria Matheussen had done using that technique, and 

liked the idea so much that I had to try it.

This is the result of that experiment:

Same basic design as the original, but I flipped it on it's side. 

They really came out totally different; so I'm posting both.
