The Diva's Challenge this past week has been to do a Duotangle
using N'Zeppel and Flux. I've been working on it for quite a
while, and almost gave up. It seems that I've not been doing
N'Zeppel quite right, and the first few tiles I tried weren't
working very well. So I spent quite a bit of time playing with
it until I got it right. Or at least more right than I had been
doing it before. Then it took me a while to do the tile; partly
because I originally wanted to use both versions
(Rick's and Maria's) of Flux. But at the last minute I
decided to just use Rick's version, because Maria's
reminds me too much of Mooka, which is
while, and almost gave up. It seems that I've not been doing

That said: here's what I ended up with:
Be sure to visit the Diva's site to see the other wonderful entries; it's amazing how different all the responses are. Maybe you'll be inspired to try out one of the Challenges yourself.
Glad you didn't give up: you made 'nzeppel and flux go really well together!
ReplyDeleteThanks you so much. I appreciate your comment.
DeleteI like your tile!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Annemarie. Your opinion is important to me.
DeleteYour 'N Zepple is beautiful drawn Audrie, but remember we don't make mistakes, when we draw the tangles a bit different, we can always say: it's a "variation". I like the composition and me too, prefer Rick's version
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Ria. But rather than being a variation of 'N Zepple, I think what I was doing before was more like a variation of Tripoli. Anyway, thanks for your supportive comment.
DeleteVery beautiful, Audrie! As you and Ria I prefer the "Rick version" too
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anja.
