Well, here I am again, at the last possible moment,
finally posting my challenge tiles for this past week.
I'll try to make this short and sweet, because it's late,
and I really need to go to bed.

The first one I started (but actually the last one I finished)
 was Joey's Challenge #148. Along with Finish my Tile
 challenges, Joey is continuing the alphabet theme:
using the letter C as the string, and Catkin as the tangle.
Here's her tile:

And here's mine, still a monotangle
Take a look at Joey’s site to see the other entries,
and maybe try one yourself.

Next up is It's a String Thing, from Adele Bruno,
at Tickled to Tangle. Here's her string:

using Fassett, Paradox, and Trimonds
and here's mine:
I love Paradox; and I like Fassett as well. And before
I realized it, I had filled the tile with those 2 tangles,
leaving no room for Trimonds. In fact, it came out
quite busy, but I like it anyway.
Be sure to check out all the entries @ Tickled to Tangle, on Monday afternoon, when Adele Bruno posts them. Although, actually, it's usually more Monday evening before they're posted. The vast differences that can be achieved using the same tangles on the same string are truly incredible. And, if you've a mind to try a String Thing yourself, check back on Tuesday afternoon, or evening, when she offers the new ones.
Last is the Diva's Challenge, which was to use the
new, terrific tangle, Drawings. I had run out of time;
but wanted to submit a Drawings tile. And, luckily,
I had one that I did for another challenge earlier.
So here it is:
This is another tangle that I really love.
Be sure to visit the Diva's site to see the other wonderful entries; it's amazing how different all the responses are. Maybe you'll be inspired to try out one of the Challenges yourself.

  1. You did a great job this week Audrie, tree wonderful results. Me too love Fassett and Rick's Paradox, you have made a wonderful combination of these magic tangles, Catkin is always lovely and for the Diva's challenge, you show us a beautifull Drawings!

  2. Beautiful tiles Audrie! I love the delicate ends of your Drawings! :)

  3. Pussy willows are my favorite, and it was nice to see Catkin doing its imitation :) Paradox is a favorite too. And, well, so is Drawings. So, I loved everything you did this week!

  4. You weren't the only one getting the challenge in late. I did one earlier but I just had to do a 2nd one with stippling. I love all your tiles. I love Catkin and your added color makes it especially nice. I too love Paradox and Fassett. They look wonderful together. But I especially like your Drawings tile. 2 wonderful variations drawn very well.

  5. All are beautiful! My favorite is the tile with Paradox and Fassett! It´s fabulous!!

Thanks for visiting; please leave a comment, favorable or not. I'd love to hear your thoughts. That's how we learn and grow; and how we know someone out there is paying attention.

Have a wonderful day; see you all next time.
