Joey"s Challenge #151: Finish My Tile, Festune

This week, Joey's Finish My Tile Challenge is/was Festune.
Here's Joey's tile:

And this is my tile:
Probably not my best effort. but at least I finished it.
This was not a great week for me; I had a colonoscopy
on Thursday. The actual procedure was done under
a general anesthetic, so I was out for the whole time.
But the prep was no fun; and I didn't get the time to
work on the challenge till last night. And of course,
I really wasn't able to finish it till today.
So what you see is what you get.

No chance to do any of the other challenges; but I
really wanted to do this one, continuing my
monotangles for Joey's Alphabet challenges.

Take a look at Joey’s site to see the other entries,
and maybe try one yourself.

  1. I hope everything is fine Audrie, it doesn't sound like a fun procedure. However your tile is wonderful and I am honoured that you completed my challenge. If you remember I recently mentioned that I don't draw if I am not in a happy place so kudos to you for picking up your pens!!

  2. A few years ago, I had a colonoscopy too and I know, it is not pleasant and you feel very tired afterwards. I hope everything will be fine and it is great of you to finish the F with a beautiful monotangleresult!

  3. I had a colonoscopy a few months ago. My heartfelt sentiments go out to you, Audrie, and I hope you are A-OK now. Despite the negative experience you went through I am sure you are glad you did it, many wait too long. However, I would like to take the opportunity to say that the prep is not felt the same way by everybody. I had absolutely no negative experience, except for a heavy heart caused by my own nervousness expecting the worst. If someone reads this who needs to undergo a colonoscopy but hesitates.... Pick up the phone and make an appointment now!!!!
Audrie, well done, and well done on the "F" as well!!!
