Diva's Weekly Challenge #130 UMT v. XIX: Henna Drum

The first week of every month the Diva's Challenge is UMT (Use My Tangle), where we are all challenged to use the specific tangle of her choice. This week it is Henna Drum, by CZT Jane MacKugler. I've never used this tangle before; I've admired it, but thought it would be hard to combine with other tangles. But while looking through the strings, String #1 just jumped off the page and told me what to do.

After rotating the string clockwise, this is what I came up with:

  1. A great tile. It reminds me of eastern. Probably because of the egg shape filled with tripoli. I like the way henna drum pops out of the egg. Great work!
